It’s always a pleasure to work with creative business owners who have a solid vision and passion for what they do. Whenever I am introduced to new perspective client, the initial discussion is always about how we can work together to elevate their online presence. A new inquiry came in and I set up a conference call to go over the details with Lauren Bean the owner of Unfinished Apparel. After speaking to her it was clear that we were on the same page in terms of the art direction and the model casting. The real plan of action was to provide her with a complete make over of the imagery and videos that would be used to populate her product page listings and home page banners. We decided to go with a white wall corner scene that provides a subtle casual feel, but still maintains an e-commerce style presentation where the models could move freely. Her new collection was all about the new colors, so we wanted to make sure to maintain color accuracy. Lauren came to the shoot to oversee the production, and having her on set really helped to dial in the styling call outs that were an important part of presenting the new items.
A big part of delivering our clients the high-quality images that truly elevate their online presence lies in meticulously dialing in every element that contributes to the overall visuals. Selecting the right models who align perfectly with the brand identity and provide the best fit is an essential aspect of proper casting and model selection. Equally important is configuring the lighting to complement the specific types of garments the models are wearing, ensuring that every detail is showcased to its fullest potential.
A successful photoshoot starts with a thought out production process, solid art direction and and team of creative professionals to get it done.. When these parts come together and click, that's when the magic happens!
